1. Cohort multiple Randomized Clinical Trial: this is the main study in ROOMMATE. With a sample size of 140 patients across the two clinical centers involved in the project, its objective is to compare conventional care with the integrated system co-developed by all project stakeholders.
2. Fugl-Meyer Assessment - sens: in this study, the project team is equipping the classic Fugl-Meyer scale — used to assess motor impairment after stroke — with inertial sensors and ad-hoc algorithms developed by UNIFI. The aim of the study is to verify the reliability of the new measures.
3. EMOVO exoskeleton: this study involves the use of the exoskeleton produced by EMOVO to verify its usability and assistive effectiveness on hand functions in people with stroke.
4. TUD portable hand trainer: this study involves assessing the feasibility and usability of the portable hand trainer developed by the Technical University of Delft, aimed at upper limb rehabilitation in people with stroke.
5. Social Robot UNIFI: this study, conducted on healthy subjects, is aimed at using the STROKEFIT system for coaching the performance of the Fugl-Meyer assessment.
